ASTM A213 TP316 stainless steel superheater tubes are usually produced by cold-drawn seamless process to ensure uniform tube wall, smooth surface, and wall thickness can be as thin as 0.4-12.7mm. Pickling or bright annealing treatment is also used to reduce the oxide layer and improve corrosion resistance.
TP316 stainless steel seamless tubes significantly improve their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments by adding molybdenum (content 2.0%-3.0%). Compared with ordinary 304 stainless steel, its corrosion resistance is more durable and its service life is longer.
