ASTM A312 TP316L is the standard specification for seamless, welded, and heavily cold-worked austenitic stainless steel pipes. It specifically covers welded pipes intended for general corrosive service and low/high-temperature applications. This standard defines the dimensional, specification, and tolerance requirements for TP316L welded pipes.

 

 TP316L stainless steel industrial pipes supplied by GNEE are designed for transporting low-pressure liquids and gases. The TP316L grade is a low-carbon variant of TP316, offering enhanced corrosion resistance-particularly in environments with a risk of sensitization. Our TP316L large-diameter stainless steel welded pipes can be customized in diameters ranging from φ150 to φ4500 (circular pipes), with wall thicknesses of 3–60 mm. The pipe surfaces can be treated with inner/outer polishing, sandblasting, shot blasting, seamless finishing, or passivation.

 

TP316L stainless steel welded pipes withstand high temperatures up to 1000–1200°C, making them suitable for elevated-temperature environments. Due to their larger diameter, they have a relatively smaller installation footprint, facilitating ease of assembly and installation. These pipes are commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, petrochemicals, food processing, and pharmaceuticals-where corrosion resistance is critically important.
