Compared with hot-finished TP304N pipe, cold-finished TP304N pipe delivers a significantly higher tensile strength of ≥620 MPa (compared to ≥515 MPa for hot-finished), a yield strength of ≥310 MPa, greater hardness, and tighter dimensional tolerances (OD tolerance ±0.1 mm, wall thickness tolerance ±5%). These properties make it especially suitable for high-pressure piping systems such as hydraulic lines and precision instrumentation tubing, where resistance to deformation and the ability to withstand higher working pressures are essential.
