This makes them the core high-temperature pressure-bearing tubing for supercritical (SC) and ultra-supercritical (USC) power plant boilers.
Our 347H stainless steel heat exchanger tubes are manufactured using extrusion or piercing processes (completely seamless), ensuring absolute uniformity in strength and eliminating any potential risks of weld-induced failure under high pressure. All tubes must undergo solution annealing at 1080°C to 100% relieve cold-working stress and reset the hardness to below 190 HV, fundamentally eliminating the risk of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) during heat exchanger operation. Furthermore, we strictly control the carbon content within the 0.04%–0.10% range and ensure the ASTM grain size is at 7 or coarser. This guarantees that the creep rupture strength is 15% higher than regular standards, allowing the tubes to safely handle continuous operating temperatures up to 815°C.
To ensure optimal fit-up and high-efficiency performance in shell-and-tube heat exchangers, the outer diameter (OD) tolerance of our steel tubes is strictly controlled within ±0.1 mm, with an inner surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 μm. We also provide 347H U-bend tubes with localized stress-relief heat treatment, as well as seamless continuous coiled tubing up to 300 meters long, eliminating the need for orbital welding.

Selection of Welding Materials for A213 TP347H
The material exhibits good weldability (welded joints can pass the intergranular corrosion test using Method L). For welding the same grade of steel, manual welding electrodes such as Ao-102, Ao-107, Ao-137, or E347-15 (US grade) are used, while argon arc welding filler wires such as ER-347 are employed. When welding dissimilar steels involving ferritic materials, filler wires or electrodes of the ERNiCr3 or ENiCrFe-3 grades specified by ASME standards are used.
