ASTM B677 specification covers seamless, cold-worked, or hot-worked pipes intended for general corrosive environments. They can be supplied in the solution-annealed condition (heat treated followed by water quenching or rapid cooling) as required, ensuring uniform microstructure and stable performance.
ASTM B677 UNS N08904 we supply is a non-stabilized, low-carbon, high-alloy austenitic stainless steel, available in both seamless and welded forms. ASTM B677 UNS N08904 stainless steel seamless pipes are solution annealed, that is, heat treated followed by water quenching or rapid cooling by other methods, and are intended for general corrosive environments. UNS N08904 welded pipes can also be subjected to appropriate heat treatment according to buyer requirements, with a minimum tensile strength of 490 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 220 MPa. They also provide enhanced durability in aggressive corrosive media, making them an ideal material choice for long service life and maintenance-free operation in harsh environments such as chemical processing, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and control and instrumentation piping systems.

UNS N08904 Tubes Testing Requirement
Each tube shall be subjected to the nondestructive electric test or hydrostatic test, Manufacturer Material Test Certification as per EN 10204 3.1 should be provided.

Packaging and Marking
Packaging shall be in bundles or laminated wooden crates, wrapped in plastic, and appropriate protective measures shall be taken to ensure seaworthiness for transport or as required.
Marking shall comply with the provisions of A1016/A1016M specifications and shall include whether the pipes are hot-worked or cold-worked, including but not limited to: standard, grade, size, furnace number, and batch number.
