What are the differences between TP409 and TP304 exhaust pipes?
TP409 exhaust pipes are made of ferritic steel, which is low in cost (60%+ lower than 304), resistant to exhaust oxidation below 650℃, and suitable for ordinary automobile exhaust systems; TP304 stainless steel pipes are austenitic steel, resistant to strong corrosion (Cl⁻≤20,000 ppm) and high temperature (870℃), but are expensive and are mostly used in high-end or harsh environments (such as coastal and chemical exhaust).
