ASTM A789 UNS S32750 Super Stainless Steel Pipe is a super duplex stainless steel widely used in applications requiring high strength and high corrosion resistance, such as subsea pipelines, shipbuilding, and offshore gas field production.
The use of UNS S32750 stainless steel seamless pipe should be limited to applications below 6000°F (3316°C). Prolonged exposure to high temperatures may reduce its toughness and corrosion resistance.
Compared to 300 series austenitic stainless steels or conventional duplex alloys, S32750 duplex stainless steel pipe has enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion and excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
