Product Description

 

ASTM A358 is a standard specification covering austenitic electric fusion welded stainless steel grades. ASTM A358 pipes are designed with excellent chromium and nickel composition. ASTM A358 EFW pipes are divided into five categories: Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4, and Class 5. They perform well in high temperature applications and can be used in long-term service in the range of -196°C to 870°C, and short-term temperature resistance up to 1093°C (such as 316H).

ASTM A358 stainless steel welded pipes are available in various shapes and sizes, with outer diameters covering 1/2 inch (12.7mm) to 60 inches (1524mm), and wall thickness up to 25.4mm.

Note:

Material selection: 316L for high chloride ion environment, 321H for high temperature creep resistance, and 904L for strong corrosion.

Class matching: Class 1 must be selected for high-risk scenarios (such as ASME BPVC pressure vessels), and Class 2 for general use.
