Its low carbon content improves weldability and corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for chloride environments. CL1 is the designation for Class 1 in the A358 standard. Class 1 pipes are double-sided welded using a full penetration welding process. These pipes can withstand high internal pressures. As Class 1 pipes conforming to ASTM A358 standards, all welds are double-sided welded with filler metal and undergo comprehensive radiographic testing.
