ASTM A928 UNS S31803 pipe is an electric fusion welded (EFW) duplex stainless steel pipe with filler metal, manufactured in accordance with ASTM A928, the standard specification for welded duplex stainless steel pipes intended for corrosive service.
UNS S31803 electric fusion welded pipe, also known as Duplex 2205, is an austenitic-ferritic stainless steel that combines high strength with good ductility and excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
The SA 928 UNS S31803 EFW pipe delivers a minimum yield strength of 450 MPa, a tensile strength of 620 MPa, and an elongation of 25%, ensuring outstanding reliability in high-pressure and corrosive applications such as petrochemical processing, offshore drilling, and power generation.
