316 Stainless Steel Sheets

AISI 316 stainless steel plate contains Cr16.5%-18.5%, Ni8%-13%, high strength and corrosion resistance, can be processed and hot-formed, can be welded, and is used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries and high-pressure containers, refrigeration equipment, etc. Reference standards ASTM A-240, ASME SA -240.

316 stainless steel cold-rolled plate has excellent work hardening (non-magnetic); excellent high temperature strength, high temperature resistance can reach 1200-1300 degrees. It is non-magnetic in solid solution state; the appearance of cold-rolled products has good gloss, and the price is higher than 304 stainless steel plate.

316L is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel with a carbon content of less than 0.03% and high molybdenum and nickel content; while 316 stainless steel has a carbon content of about 0.08% and a high chromium content. 316L has better resistance to carbide precipitation and can be used in the range of 800-1575 degrees; 316 stainless steel is more suitable for intermittent use below 1600 degrees or continuous use below 1700 degrees, but avoid the range of 800-1575 degrees.
