What is 317L Stainless Steel Angle?
317L stainless steel angle is a hot rolled or cold formed angle made of 317L austenitic stainless steel. It is a corrosion resistant reinforced stainless steel profile made of low carbon high molybdenum austenitic stainless steel (UNS S31703) and is designed to provide excellent corrosion resistance in corrosive chemical environments, especially those containing chlorides, sulfates and acid compounds.

Stainless Steel 317L Angle is a low carbon stainless steel (the "L" stands for "low carbon") that minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding. This allows it to be used without post-weld solution annealing.
Containing high levels of chromium (18-20%) and molybdenum (3-4%), 317L corrosion resistant angle steel has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in acidic, chloride-rich and high salinity environments. Suitable for chemical processing pipe supports, wastewater treatment structures and offshore engineering frameworks.
317L stainless steel angle steel is non-magnetic in the annealed state and has excellent ductility and cold working properties. It can be easily bent, stamped or cut on site, making it ideal for fast and flexible fabrication during construction.
