What Is ASTM A484 Stainless Steel H Beams?
ASTM A484 / A484M is a standard specification covering common requirements for stainless steel structural products, including: hot-rolled and forged stainless steel shapes (such as H-beams, I-beams, and channels), dimensional tolerances, surface treatments (such as pickling, polishing), heat treatment, and marking requirements. This standard applies to austenitic, ferritic, duplex, and martensitic stainless steels commonly used in beam fabrication.
