Our ASTM A789 UNS S32205 U-bend tubes offer a high thermal conductivity of up to 15.1 W/(m·K), significantly improving heat transfer efficiency. They can withstand ≥10⁶ cyclic loads within a temperature range of -50℃ to 300℃, perfectly suited for the alternating temperature operating conditions of heat exchangers.
In corrosive media common in heat exchange systems, the corrosion rate of these U-bend tubes for heat transfer equipment is as low as ≤0.07 mm/year in 3% NaCl simulated cooling water and ≤0.05 mm/year in 5% HCl solution (80℃), fully complying with ASTM A789 and NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156 standards.
Furthermore, the UNS S32205 U-bend tubes are designed with high dimensional accuracy (bending radius tolerance ±5%), ensuring a tight fit with the heat exchanger tube sheet and minimizing the risk of leakage. Compared to traditional austenitic stainless steel tubes, this extends equipment service life by more than 30%.

Heat Treatment

For seamless tubes, as an alternate to final heat treatment in a continuous furnace or batch-type furnace, immediately following hot forming while the temperature of the tubes is not less than the specified minimum solution treatment temperature, tubes may be individually quenched in water or rapidly cooled by other means.

Markings

Marking prescribed in specification A450/A 450M, The marking shall indicate whether the tubing is seamless or welded.

Mill test certificates will be issued according to EN10204.3.

All tubes shall be supplied as per applicable ASTM A789 /A789M Specification.

Packing and Marking

Packed in bundles or ply wooden box wrapped in plastic, and suitably protected for sea-worthily delivery or as requested.
