The connection methods of stainless steel foil mainly include welding, riveting, and bolt connection. ‌

Welding connection: Welding is a common connection method suitable for connecting stainless steel foil. The commonly used welding methods include manual arc welding, argon arc welding, and tig welding. Manual arc welding is suitable for simple connections, but the quality of the weld seam is unstable and prone to defects such as porosity; argon arc welding is suitable for welding thin plates, with stable weld quality and low porosity; tig welding is suitable for welding with high-quality requirements, and has the advantages of uniform weld seam and less deformation.

Riveting connection: Riveting is a connection method that forms a bolt like connection by fixing rivets to thin plates. Riveting is suitable for products with small deformation of thin plates and high requirements for connection quality. The advantages of riveting are high strength and resistance to loosening, but it requires specialized equipment and incurs high costs.

Bolt connection: Bolt connection is a method of threading bolts through two thin plates and tightening them together with nuts. This connection method is suitable for larger thin plate connections and has the advantages of high strength, easy disassembly and reconnection, but requires a large amount of space.

Laser adhesive composite welding: This is a new type of connection technology suitable for connecting 304 stainless steel foil strips. By combining laser welding and adhesive bonding, the reliability of the connection can be improved while ensuring welding quality.
