Product Introduction
SUS316Ti is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, derived from SUS316 to enhance high-temperature stability and post-weld corrosion resistance. Containing 0.10-0.20% titanium, this grade forms stable carbides that prevent chromium depletion, eliminating sensitization during welding and prolonged heating. It retains the full molybdenum-enhanced chloride corrosion resistance of SUS316, with improved creep resistance at temperatures up to 800°C. Unlike standard SUS316, SUS316Ti maintains structural and corrosion integrity in thermal-cycling environments, making it ideal for high-heat corrosive applications.
Chemical Composition (wt%)
C ≤ 0.08, Cr: 16.00-18.50, Ni: 10.00-14.00, Mo: 2.00-3.00, Ti: 0.10-0.20, Mn ≤ 2.00, Si ≤ 1.00, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.030
Mechanical Properties (Annealed State)
Tensile Strength ≥ 520 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 205 MPa, Elongation ≥ 40%, Hardness ≤ 215 HB
Core Advantages
Titanium stabilization prevents intergranular corrosion; superior high-temperature creep resistance; retains SUS316-grade chloride protection; non-magnetic; reliable weldability; stable performance in thermal-cycling conditions.
Typical Applications
High-temperature chemical processing equipment, furnace components, heat exchangers, petrochemical pipelines, and thermal-cycling corrosive systems.
Equivalent Grades
