III. Corrosion Resistance Testing

1. Intergranular Corrosion Test

Method: ASTM A262 Practice E (Copper Sulfate–Sulfuric Acid Method)

Test Conditions:

Sample sensitized at 650°C for 2 hours, followed by air cooling

Immersion in boiling solution for 16 hours

180° bend test without cracks

Result: No tendency for intergranular corrosion detected; Passed.

2. Neutral Salt Spray Test (NSS)

Standard: GB/T 10125-2021 (Neutral Salt Spray Test)

Test Conditions:

5% NaCl solution at 35°C for 480 hours

Result: No red rust observed; corrosion pit diameter less than 0.5 mm; corrosion rating ≥ Grade 9 (Passed).
