The quality standards for stainless steel pipes mainly include the following aspects:

Appearance quality: The surface of high-quality stainless steel pipes should be smooth as a mirror, without obvious scratches, pits, and cracks, without rust spots, oil stains, or other impurities, and emit a uniform metallic luster. The dimensional accuracy should be high, and the outer diameter and wall thickness should strictly meet the design requirements, with deviations within a very small range. The straightness of the pipe body is good, ensuring smooth installation and use.

Chemical composition and mechanical properties: The chemical composition of 304 stainless steel includes chromium (cr), nickel (ni), carbon (c), manganese (mn), phosphorus (p), and sulfur (s), among which chromium and nickel are important elements to ensure corrosion resistance and formability. According to the national standard gb/t 20878-2007, the chromium content of 304 stainless steel should be at least 18%, and the nickel content should be at least 8%. Its mechanical properties include tensile strength, yield point, elongation, and hardness, typically ranging from hrc 17-23.

Execution standards:
Domestic standards: Including gb/t 14975-2002, gb/t 14976-2002, gb/t 18705-2002, etc. These standards specify the chemical composition, mechanical properties, appearance quality, dimensional deviation, and other contents of 304 stainless steel pipes, ensuring the stability of product quality.
International standards: Such as astm a312/a312m-2019 en 10217-7: In 2005, these standards were widely accepted and applied globally, providing important reference for the production and inspection of 304 stainless steel pipes.
Identification requirements: Stainless steel pipes should have clear information such as manufacturer, specifications, material grades, and implementation standards to facilitate traceability and identification of the source. The quality certificate includes reports on chemical composition analysis, mechanical performance testing, and corrosion resistance testing.
