What is duplex 2205 ss strip?
Duplex 2205 Stainless Steel Strip is manufactured from UNS S32205 (EN 1.4462) duplex stainless steel conforming to ASTM A240. Supplied in strip form, typically in thicknesses from 0.1mm to 3.0mm and widths from 10mm to 600mm, it is ideal for precision processing applications such as stamping, forming, cladding and flexible tubing.

The width of cold rolled duplex 2205 steel strip is 10-600mm, which is suitable for automated processing such as continuous stamping and curling. After cold processing, the performance can be kept stable without secondary heat treatment. During welding, the dual phase ratio in the weld area is stable, which avoids intergranular corrosion and meets the forming requirements of precision components such as bellows and thin-walled pipes, and the processing efficiency is improved by 20%.
