Typically, it undergoes annealing at around 1605°F (740°C) followed by water quenching, which provides stronger corrosion resistance. This material is commonly used in expansion joints, heat exchangers, furnace components, aircraft exhaust manifolds, and bellows.
1.4541 stainless steel cold-rolled pipe can be used in temperatures ranging from 538°C to 870°C. Its minimum tensile strength is 515 MPa, and its minimum yield strength is 205 MPa.
