304 304L Stainless Commercial Tubing Advantages
The main features of 304 stainless steel pipe are the austenitic structure of 18% Cr+8% Ni, carbon content ≤0.08%, resistant to atmosphere, fresh water and mild acidic media, and wide temperature range. 304L ultra-low carbon stainless steel pipe, carbon ≤0.03%, has stronger resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding and is suitable for chloride ion environment.
304L seamless pipe uses hot extrusion + cold drawing to eliminate welds, withstands pressure of 10MPa, and is suitable for high pressure. 304L welded pipe uses ERW or laser welding, which is 15-30% lower in cost and supports large diameters up to 2000mm.
