ASTM A249 TP316L Stainless steel welded tubes for heat exchangers have pitting resistance three times higher than 304L welded tubes. They passed the ASTM B117 salt spray test for 2,000 hours without red rust. They are suitable for high chloride environments such as seawater (Cl⁻≥35,000ppm), salt solutions, and wet chlorine. They have a service life of more than 10 years in highly corrosive environments, which is 2-3 times that of 304L welded tubes, reducing downtime and replacement costs caused by corrosion perforation.
Complies with ASTM A249, ASME BPVC, FDA and other standards, and provides EN 10204 3.1 material certification and intergranular corrosion/water pressure test reports to ensure project acceptance and long-term operational reliability.

What is the core difference between TP316L and TP316 stainless steel welded pipes?
TP316L carbon content ≤0.03% (ultra-low carbon), TP316 carbon content ≤0.08%;
TP316L uses low-carbon design to avoid the precipitation of chromium carbide (Cr₂₃C₆) in the heat-affected zone of welding, and its resistance to intergranular corrosion is significantly enhanced, which is especially suitable for frequent welding of heat exchangers, tube-to-sheet connections and other scenarios.
