ASTM A249 TP316 stainless steel heat exchanger tubes do not peel off the oxide film when used for a long time at 800℃, which is 150℃ higher than the upper temperature limit of TP304 (650℃). They are suitable for boiler superheaters and high-temperature heat exchangers. The elongation is ≥40% in a liquid nitrogen environment at -196℃, with no risk of embrittlement, meeting the needs of deep-cold heat exchange equipment.
ASTM A249 TP316 stainless steel is suitable for TIG/MIG welding, using 316L special welding materials, the corrosion resistance of the weld is consistent with that of the parent material, no special heat treatment is required after welding, and the on-site construction efficiency is high.

What are the main differences between TP316 and TP304 heat exchanger tubes?
TP316 contains 2.0-3.0% molybdenum, while TP304 does not contain molybdenum. This makes TP316's chloride corrosion resistance more than 3 times that of TP304, and its salt spray test life reaches 2000-3000 hours (TP304 only 500-1000 hours), which is suitable for highly corrosive environments such as chemical and marine environments; while TP304 is suitable for low-corrosive scenarios such as ordinary atmosphere and food contact.
