These plates are specifically designed for manufacturing industrial furnace components, high-temperature heat exchangers, and internal components that withstand extreme high temperatures, strong oxidation, and carburizing environments ranging from 950°C to 1150°C.
Our 253MA hot-rolled stainless steel plates contain rare earth elements (Ce), which form a dense protective film on the steel surface. The creep strength at 900°C is 2.3 times that of 310S. Even during frequent heating and cooling thermal cycles, the oxide scale will not flake off like that of 310S, greatly protecting your furnace workpieces from contamination.
We supply solution-annealed and pickled sheet metal, with standard thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 50mm, widths up to 2000mm, and lengths customized to customer requirements. Dimensional tolerances are strictly controlled within ±0.03mm, and surface roughness Ra ≤1.6 microns (No.1 grade). All sheet metal is leveled using a heavy-duty straightener and undergoes comprehensive inspection. We also provide matching welding wire and professional welding guidance.
253MA vs 310S stainless steel sheet: creep strength
253MA stainless steel (UNS S30815) offers significantly higher creep strength than 310S stainless steel (UNS S31008), often more than twice as strong at temperatures above 870°C (1600°F). While 310S is a solid choice for continuous high heat, 253MA's micro-alloying with rare earths and nitrogen gives it superior structural integrity and higher allowable design stresses in extreme, fluctuating, or cyclic thermal environments up to 1150°C.

Waterproof Protection: Although stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, the No.1 surface of 253MA may develop white spots or water stains if exposed to moisture during sea transport. It is typically fully wrapped with waterproof woven fabric or Kraft paper.
Securation: Use steel straps for longitudinal and transverse reinforcement, and install L-shaped metal edge protectors at the edges to prevent the steel straps from damaging the edges of the boards.
