What is Super Duplex 2507 stainless steel sheet?
Super Duplex 2507 Stainless Steel Plate is a premium high performance duplex stainless steel alloy with exceptional strength and excellent corrosion resistance, especially suitable for chloride-rich and corrosive environments. 2507 has a balanced austenite and ferrite microstructure, as well as a high alloy content (25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum and nitrogen), suitable for critical applications in the marine, offshore engineering, chemical and petrochemical industries.

What are the main performance advantages of 2507 stainless steel plate?
2507 stainless steel plate corrosion resistance: SCC resistance is far superior to ordinary duplex steel (2205) and austenitic stainless steel (316L), and is suitable for long-term immersion or alternating stress conditions.
Weldability of 2507 stainless steel plate: ER2594 welding wire is used, no preheating is required before welding, the heat affected zone (HAZ) has a stable duplex structure (austenite accounts for 40%-50%), avoiding the risk of single-phase embrittlement or corrosion.
High temperature resistance of 2507 stainless steel plate: It can be used for a long time at -50℃~300℃, and its oxidation resistance is better than conventional duplex steel.
