Our UNS S30400 full-hard stainless steel sheet contains 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel. Through a special cold-rolling process, it achieves a Brinell hardness exceeding 300, a tensile strength of ≥850 MPa, and a yield strength of ≥650 MPa. It can withstand sustained mechanical stress and is suitable for high-strength applications such as automotive parts and industrial equipment.
304 stainless steel sheet exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, resisting atmospheric corrosion, fresh water, and common weak acids and alkalis. Furthermore, we offer a variety of surface treatments; for 2B and BA finishes, we provide a thickness tolerance of ±0.02mm, far exceeding the requirements of ASTM A240 standards. All polished surfaces (No.4, HL, 8K) are coated with a 100μm thick Novacel/Nitto laser protective film to ensure zero surface defects during processing.

What is the difference between 304 "Full Hard" and regular 304?
Regular 304 typically refers to the annealed state, with a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa. Full Hard (FH), on the other hand, is achieved through significant cold rolling work hardening, typically increasing its tensile strength to ≥1135 MPa (165 ksi) or even higher, and its hardness to ≥40 HRC (or ≥370 HV).

MTC Documentation: Each shipment includes a 3.1 Factory Test Certificate (MTC) verifying its chemical composition (Ni ≥ 8.0%, Cr ≥ 18.0%) and mechanical properties (yield strength ≥ 170 MPa).
304 Stainless Steel Plate Quality Inspection
We utilize PMI spectrometry for quality control of ASTM A240 304 stainless steel sheets, ensuring a chromium content ≥18% and a nickel content ≥8%. The testing process includes ultrasonic thickness measurement to control thickness tolerance within ±0.05mm, and surface roughness testing (Ra≤0.4μm) for the 2B surface. Each stainless steel sheet undergoes non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure zero internal defects. All test results are recorded in the 3.1 Factory Test Certificate (MTC), achieving a final factory pass rate of 99.8%, conforming to global engineering standards.
