What is Ultra-thin 904L Stainless Steel Sheet?
Ultra-thin 904L stainless steel plate (UNS N08904) is a super austenitic stainless steel containing 23% chromium, 23% nickel, 4.5% molybdenum and 1.5% copper. It is made into a high-precision thin plate with a thickness of 0.1-3.0mm through a cold rolling process. It has excellent corrosion resistance (especially resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid), good formability and high temperature stability. It is specially designed for harsh corrosive environments such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and seawater treatment.

Comparison of corrosion resistance between 904L and 316L?
904L super austenitic stainless steel plate has better corrosion resistance than 316L in all aspects, and its stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance is more than 3 times that of 316L, which is suitable for high temperature and high pressure harsh scenes (such as seawater desalination and chemical reactors). 316L is only suitable for neutral to weakly corrosive media (such as seawater, common acids and alkalis), and is a more cost-effective general corrosion-resistant material.
904L stainless steel plate High temperature resistance: long-term use temperature ≤400℃, short-term tolerance 550℃, oxidation weight gain rate ≤0.3g/m²・h, suitable for high temperature and strong acid environment (such as fertilizer plant decomposer, sulfuric acid concentration device).
