What is 304H stainless steel plate ?
304H stainless steel plate is a medium-carbon austenitic stainless steel (carbon content 0.04-0.10%). It optimizes high-temperature strength by increasing the carbon content. It has both corrosion resistance and creep resistance. It complies with GB/T 24511, ASTM A240 and other standards. It is widely used in high-temperature pressure-bearing scenarios of 500-800℃, such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boiler components, etc.

What is the main difference between 304H and ordinary 304 stainless steel plates?
The carbon content of 304H (0.04-0.10%) is higher than that of ordinary 304 (≤0.08%). Carbides are formed at high temperatures to strengthen the grain boundaries, and the creep resistance is improved by 15%-20%.
Intergranular corrosion: 304H has a slightly higher carbon content, and it is necessary to avoid long-term stay at 400-850℃ after welding (the risk of sensitization is higher than 304L, but lower than unstabilized conventional 304).
