What is 310S stainless steel angle section ?
310S stainless steel angle steel is a rectangular cross-section profile made of 310S stainless steel (UNS S31008). It is a high-chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel designed for harsh high-temperature scenes above 1000°C. It has high-temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and structural support properties.

Advantages of 310S stainless steel equal angle
310S stainless steel angles bunnings contain 24-26% nickel to improve austenite stability, and 24-26% chromium to form a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film. The anti-oxidation weight gain is ≤5.0mg/cm² at 800-1300℃ (far exceeding 20mg/cm² of 304 stainless steel), which significantly delays the shedding of oxide scale and thinning of wall thickness at high temperature.
The tensile strength of high-temperature resistant 310S stainless steel angles is still ≥200MPa at 1000℃, and the creep resistance is more than 3 times better than that of ordinary stainless steel, which is suitable for long-term high-temperature load (such as heat treatment furnace brackets and ceramic sintering kiln rails).
