What is Stainless Steel 316L Cold Drawn Bars?
316L stainless steel cold drawn rod is a low carbon austenitic stainless steel rod processed by cold drawing process, which meets ASTM A276, A484 and other standards. The carbon content is extremely low, which avoids intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation during welding, achieves high-precision dimensions, smooth surface and enhanced mechanical properties, and is suitable for the manufacture of precision parts with high requirements for accuracy and corrosion resistance.

UNS S31603 Round Bar Advantages
316L stainless steel bar contains low carbon (C≤0.03%) to avoid Cr23C6 precipitation during welding. Even if used for a long time at sensitization temperature (400-800°C), it still maintains good intergranular corrosion resistance. It contains Mo element and its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater, salt spray, and halide solution is better than 304L and slightly lower than 317L. It is suitable for humid, Cl⁻-containing harsh environments (such as marine engineering, chemical equipment), and structures that require frequent welding (such as pipelines, flanges).
