Can 316Ti beams be used outdoors or in marine environments?
316Ti is a titanium-stabilized version of 316 stainless steel (UNS S31635 / EN 1.4571). Titanium content prevents intergranular corrosion after welding or high temperature exposure, suitable for high temperature areas, coastal construction, chemical or marine infrastructure, power plants or offshore platforms.
What is the difference between 316Ti and 316L in beams?
316Ti offers better high-temperature resistance and is more stable after welding, while 316L is low in carbon and ideal for general corrosion resistance. For structural beams in aggressive or hot environments, 316Ti is preferred.
Are 316Ti stainless steel beams magnetic?
