ASTM A213 / ASME SA213 is an American specification for stainless steel boiler, super heater, heat exchanger tubes, executed by most world stainless steel seamless tube mills and factories, minimum wall thickness required in A213 seamless tube, or average wall thickness as customer's requirement, tight tolerance of outside and wall thickness stated as A213 standard or A1016.
GNEE is one of the largest suppliers of seamless 304 stainless steel pipes, offering competitive pricing. These pipes are typically supplied in round form. Designed for high-temperature applications, they can also be used at room temperature and under normal atmospheric conditions. They are also resistant to natural acids under normal conditions. Our SA213 TP304 stainless steel seamless pipes are used in boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, and superheaters. We can supply any quantity of these pipes, and they are high-quality and tested. TP304 vs. TP304L and TP316
TP304 vs. TP304L: TP304L is the low-carbon version of TP304 (with C ≤ 0.03). Its core advantage is superior resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding, making it suitable for scenarios where frequent welding and harsh corrosive environments are involved. In contrast, TP304 is more cost-effective and versatile, performing well in non-extreme welding and corrosion scenarios.
TP304 vs. TP316: TP316, due to the addition of Molybdenum (Mo), exhibits better performance in pitting corrosion resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, and resistance to strongly reducing media. However, it comes at a higher cost. TP304, on the other hand, is reliable in general corrosive media (such as air, water, weak acids and alkalis), making it a more cost-effective general choice.
Application of ASME SA213 TP304 Seamless Stainless Steel Tube
1.Chemical & Petrochemical Industry: Used in various heat exchangers, condensers, and piping systems handling a wide range of corrosive chemical media.
2.Power Generation Sector: Serves as heat transfer tubes in boilers, superheaters, and heat recovery systems, suitable for medium to high-pressure steam environments.
3.Food & Pharmaceutical Equipment: Widely used in sterile heat exchange equipment and fluid transfer pipelines due to its good cleanability and corrosion resistance.
GNEE manufactures stainless steel seamless pipes under a strict quality management system, documenting each production stage and ensuring compliance with A213 specifications. All tests are conducted in accordance with standards and requirements, and a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) of type EN10204-3.1 is provided.

Packaging and Marking:
Packaged in bales or laminated wooden crates, wrapped in plastic, and appropriately protected to ensure seaworthiness for transport, or as required.
Marking must comply with Specification A1016/A1016M. Marking must include information on whether the pipe is hot-finished or cold-finished, including but not limited to: standard, grade, size, heat number, and batch number.
