ASME SA789 S32205 2205 duplex stainless steel seamless heat exchanger tube is a duplex stainless steel containing 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, 5-6% nickel, and nitrogen. In addition to high strength and excellent impact toughness, it also exhibits good resistance to general corrosion, localized corrosion, and stress corrosion. S32205 is very similar to S31803, differing only in its chemical composition. We typically use S32205 in place of S31803.

2205 duplex stainless steel pipe is available in various surface finishes, including annealed and pickled, bright annealed, polished, and mirror-finished. Duplex 2205 seamless pipe is used in boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers.
