Definition of Stainless Steel Foil

Stainless steel foil, also known as hand torn steel, is an ultra-thin stainless steel material with a thickness of only a quarter of a4 paper, or even thinner. Its scientific name is stainless steel foil, also known as stainless steel precision strip or stainless steel foil.

 

Characteristic
Stainless steel foil has the following characteristics:
Extremely thin: Its thickness is usually between 0.01-0.5 millimeters, with the thinnest reaching 0.02 millimeters, which is only one-fifth the thickness of a4 paper.
High precision: The thickness accuracy requirement is extremely high, with a positive and negative difference of no more than 1 micron; surface quality requires roughness ra ≤ 0.16mm or lower; the grain size is uniform, and the hardness fluctuates between ± 5-10hv.
High strength and corrosion resistance: Due to its high precision and strict manufacturing process, stainless steel foil has characteristics such as high strength, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, easy processing, wear resistance, and exquisite appearance.
