EN 1.4404 / X2CrNiMo17-12-2 Stainless Steel Plate – 316L Corrosion-Resistant Sheets for Demanding Applications
EN 1.4404 stainless steel plate, also known as X2CrNiMo17-12-2 or 316L stainless steel plate, is a low-carbon, molybdenum-alloyed austenitic stainless steel designed for excellent corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich, acidic, or marine environments.
This material is widely used in industries where hygiene, durability, and weldability are critical-including chemical processing, food and beverage, marine engineering, and pharmaceutical equipment.
