Overview
EN 1.4919 is a high-temperature heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel designed for continuous service in elevated temperature environments up to 850°C. It is alloyed with chromium, nickel, and small amounts of titanium to enhance high-temperature oxidation resistance and creep strength, distinguishing itself from conventional austenitic grades. This grade maintains a stable austenitic structure at room temperature, offering good corrosion resistance in mild environments and excellent thermal stability under prolonged high-heat exposure. It is specifically tailored for power generation, petrochemical, and industrial heating applications that demand long-term performance at high temperatures.
Chemical Composition (wt%)
C ≤ 0.08, Cr: 17.00-19.00, Ni: 10.00-12.00, Ti: 0.15-0.40, Mn ≤ 2.00, Si ≤ 1.00, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.015
Typical Mechanical Properties (Annealed Condition)
Tensile Strength (Rm): ≥ 515 MPa; Yield Strength (Rp0.2): ≥ 205 MPa; Elongation (A): ≥ 40%; Brinell Hardness (HB): ≤ 201
Core Advantages
Excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and creep strength, suitable for continuous service at 850°C; titanium stabilization prevents intergranular corrosion during welding and high-temperature exposure; non-magnetic; good weldability and formability; stable mechanical performance under prolonged thermal stress.
Applications
Boiler tubes, high-temperature heat exchangers, furnace components, power generation equipment, petrochemical reactors, and industrial heating systems.
Equivalent Grades
AISI 321, UNS S32100, GB 06Cr18Ni10Ti, SUS321
