Grade 316Ti Stainless Steel

316Ti is a titanium-stabilized variant of 316L, adding titanium to prevent chromium carbide precipitation, ensuring excellent intergranular corrosion resistance in welding and high-temperature environments.

Chemical Composition (wt%): C≤0.08, Cr:16.0-18.5, Ni:10.0-14.0, Mo:2.0-3.0, Ti:5×C-0.70, Mn≤2.0, Si≤1.0, P≤0.045, S≤0.030.

Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength≥515MPa, Yield strength≥205MPa, Elongation≥40%, Hardness≤217 HB.

Performance Advantages: Better high-temperature intergranular corrosion resistance than 316/316L; same pitting resistance as 316 series; more stable than 316L in high-temperature corrosive conditions.

Applications: Chemical reactors, exhaust systems, heat exchangers, marine process units, high-temperature corrosive welded equipment.

Equivalent Grades: AISI 316Ti, UNS S31635, EN 1.4571, GB 06Cr17Ni12Mo2Ti.
