Overview
STS321H is a high-carbon, titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, engineered for high-temperature applications requiring exceptional creep strength and intergranular corrosion resistance. With a carbon content of 0.04-0.10% and 0.20-0.70% titanium, it combines high-temperature mechanical strength with resistance to intergranular corrosion, as titanium forms carbides to prevent chromium depletion during welding and high-temperature service. It contains 17.00-19.00% chromium and 9.00-12.00% nickel to maintain a stable austenitic structure, is non-magnetic, and has good weldability. This grade is suitable for continuous service at temperatures up to 850°C, making it ideal for high-temperature pressure vessels in Korean industrial sectors.
Chemical Composition (wt%)
C: 0.04-0.10, Si ≤ 1.00, Mn ≤ 2.00, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.030, Cr: 17.00-19.00, Ni: 9.00-12.00, Ti: 0.20-0.70
