Product Introduction
SUS304 is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel in the SUS series, renowned for its exceptional balance of corrosion resistance, formability, and cost-effectiveness. As a classic 18-8 stainless steel (18.0-20.0% chromium, 8.0-11.0% nickel), it forms a stable austenitic microstructure that ensures non-magnetic properties at room temperature. This grade is specifically engineered to resist rust and oxidation in atmospheric, freshwater, and mild chemical environments, making it suitable for a wide range of consumer and industrial applications. Unlike specialized high-performance grades, SUS304 prioritizes practicality and affordability, with excellent weldability, stamping, and polishing performance to adapt to diverse fabrication needs.
Chemical Composition (wt%)
C ≤ 0.08, Cr: 18.00-20.00, Ni: 8.00-11.00, Mn ≤ 2.00, Si ≤ 1.00, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.030
