Product Introduction

SUS316 is a high-performance austenitic stainless steel in the SUS series, distinguished by the addition of molybdenum to enhance corrosion resistance. With 16.0-18.5% chromium, 10.0-14.0% nickel, and 2.0-3.0% molybdenum, it delivers superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-containing environments. This grade maintains a non-magnetic austenitic structure, with excellent low-temperature toughness and formability. Unlike SUS304, SUS316 thrives in harsh environments such as marine, coastal, and chemical processing settings, making it the ideal upgrade for applications requiring enhanced corrosion durability.

Mechanical Properties (Annealed State)

Tensile Strength ≥ 520 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 205 MPa, Elongation ≥ 40%, Hardness ≤ 215 HB
