Product Introduction
SUS304H is the high-carbon variant of SUS304, tailored for elevated-temperature applications that require excellent creep resistance and mechanical stability. With a controlled carbon range of 0.04-0.10%, it outperforms SUS304 and SUS304L in long-term service at temperatures above 500°C, where lower-carbon grades may experience strength degradation. This grade maintains the austenitic structure and general corrosion resistance of SUS304, remaining non-magnetic at room temperature, while offering improved high-temperature tensile strength and creep resistance. It is widely used in high-heat industrial applications where components must withstand sustained thermal stress.
Chemical Composition (wt%)
C: 0.04-0.10, Cr: 18.00-20.00, Ni: 8.00-11.00, Mn ≤ 2.00, Si ≤ 1.00, P ≤ 0.045, S ≤ 0.030
Mechanical Properties (Annealed State)
Tensile Strength ≥ 520 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 205 MPa, Elongation ≥ 40%, Hardness ≤ 200 HB
Core Advantages
Superior high-temperature creep resistance compared to SUS304/SUS304L; excellent oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures; non-magnetic; good weldability; stable mechanical performance under long-term high-heat conditions; suitable for high-temperature pressure components.
Typical Applications
Boiler tubes, high-temperature piping, heat exchangers, furnace components, power generation equipment, and industrial heating systems.
Equivalent Grades
AISI 304H, UNS S30409, EN 1.4306, GB 07Cr19Ni10
