UNS S43100 Stainless Steel

Description

UNS S43100 is a nickel-bearing martensitic stainless steel with improved toughness, ductility, and corrosion resistance compared to standard 410 and 420. It combines high strength after heat treatment with good corrosion resistance, making it suitable for high-stress structural components. It is magnetic and offers better toughness than other martensitic grades, ideal for applications requiring both strength and durability.

Chemical Composition (wt%)

C ≤ 0.20, Cr: 15.00–17.00, Ni: 1.25–2.50, Mn ≤ 1.00, Si ≤ 1.00, P ≤ 0.040, S ≤ 0.030

Mechanical Properties

Tensile Strength ≥ 725 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 515 MPa, Elongation ≥ 15%, Hardness ≤ 241 HB
