As a trusted global supplier, GNEE possesses extensive experience in exporting AISI 321 perforated stainless steel plates to over 30 countries worldwide, with an annual shipment volume exceeding 500 tons. All raw materials are sourced from certified steel mills, feature a complete furnace batch traceability system, and have been verified through PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing.

Our AISI 321 plates undergo rigorous titanium stabilization treatment to ensure thateven after welding or prolonged exposure to temperatures of 800°Cthey remain completely free from intergranular corrosion. Prior to the perforation process, we conduct 100% PMI testing to verify the titanium content.

Regarding perforation precision, we utilize CNC punching technology to maintain hole diameter tolerances within ±0.05 mm. Simultaneously, our advanced deburring process ensures that the plate edges are smooth, flat, and exhibit minimal burr height. Following perforation, we employ precision roller leveling machines to ensure flatness tolerances remain within 2 mm/m, thereby allowing the plates to be installed or subsequently welded directly without further preparation.

FAQ

Q: What are the common perforation patterns available for industrial-grade 321 stainless steel sheets?
A:
Round Holes (60° Staggered): The most common pattern, offering the optimal strength-to-weight ratio.
Round Holes (Straight Row): Suitable for applications requiring specific alignment, though offering relatively lower strength.
Square Holes: Feature a high open area percentage and are frequently used in the fabrication of protective grilles.
Oblong/Slotted Holes: Ideal for the screening or filtration of elongated materials.

Q: Is AISI 321 perforated sheet suitable for welding?
A: It is highly suitable. 321 stainless steel possesses excellent weldability. Because this alloy is stabilized with titanium, it does not require post-weld annealing to effectively prevent corrosion in the weld zone. This material is widely utilized in the fabrication of welded components for aerospace and chemical processing equipment.

Q: What is the maximum thickness of AISI 321 stainless steel that can be perforated?
A: For heavy-duty industrial screening applications, we are capable of perforating AISI 321 stainless steel sheets up to 12 mm (1/2 inch) in thickness. For sheets exceeding 6 mm in thickness, we typically employ heavy-duty CNC punching presses to ensure the perpendicularity of the hole walls and to minimize hole taper.
