Are you looking for high-performance duplex steel tubesheets for corrosion-resistant and high-strength applications? Our ASTM A182 F51 and F53 duplex stainless steel tubesheets are engineered for maximum corrosion resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and long-term durability. Perfect for heat exchangers, chemical reactors, and pressure vessels, they meet the most demanding industrial requirements.
What Are ASTM A182 F51 and F53 Duplex Steel Tubesheets?
ASTM A182 F51 (UNS S31803/S32205) and F53 (UNS S32750) are high-strength, corrosion-resistant forged duplex and super duplex stainless steel grades used for tubesheets in heat exchangers and pressure vessels. They combine austenitic and ferritic microstructures to offer superior strength and pitting resistance against chloride, ideal for harsh oil, gas, and marine environments.

What is the difference between F51 and F53 duplex steel?
F51 and F53 are both duplex stainless steels, but F53 is a higher-alloyed "super duplex" grade designed for superior corrosion resistance and strength. F53 (25% Cr) offers much better pitting resistance (higher PREN) and yield strength compared to standard duplex F51 (22% Cr), making F53 ideal for harsh, high-chloride marine environments.

FAQ
Q: Can these tubesheets be welded?
Yes, duplex steel can be welded, but preheat and controlled welding procedures are recommended to preserve duplex properties.
Q: Are F51 and F53 suitable for seawater applications?
Yes. Both grades perform well in seawater, but F53 is preferred for highly aggressive marine conditions.
Q: What standards do your tubesheets meet?
Our tubesheets comply with ASTM A182, ASME SA182, EN 10088, and ISO 9001 quality systems.
Q: Can you produce custom sizes?
Yes. We offer custom diameters, thicknesses, and machining to meet project-specific needs.
