The maximum recommended operating temperature for continuous use of SUS310H (high carbon 310) stainless steel is 1150℃ (2102℉). For intermittent use in air, it is generally recommended to keep the temperature below 1040℃ (1904℉).

 

How does SUS310H compare to 304 or 316?

SUS310H is a high-temperature resistant austenitic stainless steel with higher chromium (24-26%) and nickel (19-22%) content than 304 or 316 stainless steel, resulting in superior performance in extreme high-temperature environments (above 800-900°C).
