GNEE supplies high-quality ASTM A240 Grade 430 (UNS S43000 / 1.4016) cold-rolled stainless steel coils with BA (Bright Annealed) surface finish. The bright annealing process is carried out in a hydrogen-protected atmosphere, producing a smooth, oxide-free, and highly reflective surface. The surface roughness is controlled at Ra ≤ 0.3 μm, eliminating the need for additional polishing and making it ideal for decorative and home appliance applications.

The tensile strength of 430 grade stainless steel coils is ≥450 MPa, the yield strength is ≥205 MPa, the elongation is ≥22% (≥20% for thicknesses ≤1.27 mm), and the hardness is ≤183 HBW, which reduces the risk of cracking during stamping and bending. For deep drawing applications such as rice cooker inner pots and home appliance casings, the enhanced DDQ grade material with higher r-value performance can significantly improve the forming success rate.

We offer flexible specifications with thicknesses ranging from 0.3 to 3.0 mm, widths from 600 to 1500 mm, and coil weights up to 2.5 tons. Thickness tolerances are strictly controlled within ±0.02 mm, and width tolerances within ±0.1 mm, minimizing edge waves, center buckles, and camber issues while reducing burrs through slit-edge processing.
Each coil undergoes rigorous inspection, including eddy current testing, surface defect detection, and brightness testing (up to 1100 gloss units). Additionally, we provide custom cutting, seaworthy packaging, and on-time delivery services.

430 stainless steel coils cold rolled vs hot rolled
430 stainless steel coils are available as hot-rolled (HR) or cold-rolled (CR), with the main differences being surface finish, precision, and strength. Cold-rolled, often finished as BA (bright annealed), offers a smooth, mirror-like finish, tighter tolerances, and higher strength (700–1000 MPa), ideal for appliances. Hot-rolled has a rougher, scaly surface with lower precision, used for structural or non-decorative applications.
430 BA surface vs. 2B: Differences
The BA surface has a high reflectivity similar to a mirror, with a bright and delicate finish; while the 2B surface is matte, flat but lacks the mirror effect. The BA surface avoids the microscopic corrosion caused by acid pickling, resulting in a smoother surface with a Ra value (roughness) typically below 0.05μm.

HS Code for 430 stainless steel coils:
Width ≥ 600mm: Typically 7219.33 (1mm < Thickness < 3mm) or 7219.34 (0.5mm ≤ Thickness ≤ 1mm).
Width < 600mm: Typically 7220.20.
ASTM A240 430 BA finish coil price per kg
The price of ASTM A240 Grade 430 BA surface-finished stainless steel coils typically fluctuates between $1.36 and $2.50+ per kilogram; the specific price depends primarily on the material's thickness (e.g., 0.6 mm to 1 mm) and the quantity purchased. On the global market (based on China FOB pricing), the price for standard-specification 430 BA stainless steel coils generally ranges from $900 to $1,500 per metric ton.

Middle East (Turkey): Appliance Panel Application
Product Specifications: 430 No.4 (Brushed/Textured) and BA surface roll.
Thickness and Width: 0.5mm / 0.6mm x 1250mm.
Order Quantity: 80 tons.
Customer Pain Points: Appliance panels require extremely high surface consistency. The customer was concerned about color variations in the brushed texture (hairline) between different batches, affecting the overall aesthetics of the appliances.
Gnee's Solution:
Gnee arranged for uniform brushing processing at its own machining center, using a fixed grinding wheel model and speed to ensure consistent texture depth across all batches. A double-layer laser protective film was used to prevent surface damage during automated laser cutting.
Results: The customer successfully passed the quality acceptance test of the end-brand Vestel and praised Gnee's surface treatment for meeting European import standards.
