Product Description
AISI 420A stainless steel seamless pipe is a martensitic stainless steel grade characterized by a carbon content of approximately 0.15%, which improves its hardness and strength while maintaining good corrosion resistance. The 420A grade is commonly used in the production of pipes, tubes, and structural components where moderate corrosion resistance and high durability are essential.

Advantages of 420 SS Round Pipe
420A stainless seamless pipe contains about 12–14% chromium, and exhibits a certain corrosion resistance in dry environments and some mildly corrosive media (such as fresh water, weak acids, and oils). Although not as good as austenitic stainless steel, it can still meet the requirements in many non-harsh environments.
After heat treatment, 420A stainless steel cold-rolled pipe can obtain a higher hardness (up to about HRC 50), which is suitable for applications that are subject to certain wear or impact. The tensile strength and yield strength are better than austenitic stainless steels such as 304 or 316, especially for structural parts.
420A stainless steel precision pipe is suitable for the manufacture of tools, valve parts, springs, shafts, automotive structural pipes, medical devices (non-implantable), and other applications with high strength requirements.
