ASTM A312 TP347H stainless steel pipe (UNS S34700/DIN 1.4550) is based on 304 grade austenitic alloy. It is stabilized by adding niobium to improve the resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially in high temperature (700-900℃) and oxidizing environment.
Compared with 304 stainless steel, the creep strength of ASTM A312 TP347H seamless stainless steel pipe is increased by more than 30%, the fracture performance is better, and it can withstand working pressure up to 15MPa, which is particularly suitable for extreme high temperature and high pressure conditions.
ASTM A312 TP347H cold-worked pipe is formed by cold drawing process and has cold work hardening characteristics. The strength can be increased by 20%-30% through cold deformation, while maintaining an elongation of ≥40%, meeting the needs of complex machining and forming. Combined with ER347 welding wire, all-position welding can be achieved, and the welded joints can pass the L-method intergranular corrosion test, which is suitable for intensive welding scenarios such as storage tanks and valves.
