Product Advantages
The outer diameter tolerance of 1.4438 stainless steel cold drawing tube is ±0.1%, and the wall thickness tolerance is ±0.05mm, which is far higher than that of ordinary hot-rolled tubes (tolerance ±1%). The tensile strength is more than 520MPa, which is 15-20% higher than that of hot-rolled tubes. At the same time, the elongation is ≥40%, which meets the precision assembly requirements of nuclear power main pipelines, aerospace sensor pipelines, etc.
1.4438 vs 316L corrosion resistance
The pitting equivalent (PREN) of 1.4438 stainless steel round tube is ≥35. In the acid chloride environment of the pulp and paper industry, the corrosion resistance is more than 30% higher than that of 316L, which can resist seawater and salt spray erosion for a long time, and is suitable for offshore platforms and seawater desalination equipment.
In addition, the mechanical properties are stable in the range of -196℃ to 400℃, and it can be used in deep-cold storage tanks (such as liquid nitrogen transportation) and medium-temperature heat exchangers.
