ASTM A249 TP316L stainless steel bright annealed welded tubes are a high-purity welded stainless steel tube. The A249 standard specifies the delivery condition for 316 welded pipe, offering either annealed pickling or bright annealing surface treatments. A bright annealed surface (Ra ≤ 0.8 μm) can be achieved through controlled heat treatment. Its mechanical properties include a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, tensile strength of 515-790 MPa, and elongation of 40%. It is specifically designed for highly corrosive applications, such as chemical processing, marine environments, and high-purity fluid systems, where weld integrity and surface cleanliness are critical.
